Inclusion policy:

Further information:

  • You can show up early, just make sure to say you’re there for the London Climbers for Palestine event

  • Please bring banners/flags, wear your keffiyeh, pro-Palestine T-shirts etc. You can buy a t-shirt from Climbers for Palestine (available until 15 April)

  • DJs will be playing music to support the event. (Please speak to us if you have any auditory or sensory needs, and we will do our best to accommodate)

  • Prayer space will be made available and music will be turned off to accommodate this during prayer times, Mahgrib 20:30 and Isha 21:46. Please note that the prayer space is not entirely separate from the rest of the gym and as such there will still be some ambient noise from the event. The prayer space is on the mezzanine level so only accessible up two flights of stairs

  • KN95s will be provided for those who wish to wear a mask

  • The documentary Resistance Climbing (2023), the award-winning film by Reel Rock and Andrew Bisharat, will be screened at 21:00

  • The organisers will be photographing this event to celebrate it online afterwards. Please let a facilitator know when you arrive if you'd rather not be photographed at all and we will provide you with a wristband so you can be easily identified.

  • Can’t come? You can still donate here: https://bit.ly/LCfPdonate

Funded Spaces:

  • Thanks to Climbers for Palestine and to donations from Wanderers of Colour members, we are able to offer 12 funded spaces – free entry to the event – for Black people and people of colour on no or low income. Please enter your details into this form to take one of these places which are allocated on a first come first serve basis

  • Thanks to donations from the trans climbing community, T-Climbing is able to fully fund spaces (i.e. free entry to the event) for all trans/non-binary/gender non-conforming climbers. The only request we have in return is that if you are financially able to, you match your entry fee as a donation on the day (£12). If you would like to make use of one of our funded spots, get in touch with T-Climbing on Instagram (@transclimbing) or via hello@t-climbing.uk
