Further information:
You can show up early, just make sure to say you’re there for Climb For Palestine - Send for Sudan
Please bring banners/flags, wear your keffiyeh, show solidarity as best you know how!
There will be background music to support the event. (Please speak to us if you have any auditory or sensory needs, and we will do our best to accommodate).
Prayer space will be made available and music will be turned off to accommodate this during prayer times. Please note that the prayer space is not entirely separate from the rest of the gym and as such there will still be some ambient noise from the event. The prayer space is on the mezzanine level so only accessible up two flights of stairs.
KN95s will be provided for those who wish to wear a mask.
Short films relevant to Sudan and Palestine will be shown.
The organisers will be photographing this event to celebrate it online afterwards. Please let a facilitator know when you arrive if you'd rather not be photographed at all and we will provide you with a wristband so you can be easily identified.
Can’t come? Buy one of our solidarity shirts! Details to come.
Funded Spaces:
Thanks to donations from the trans climbing community, T-Climbing is able to fully fund spaces (i.e. free entry to the event) for all trans/non-binary/gender non-conforming climbers. The only request we have in return is that if you are financially able to, you match your entry fee as a donation on the day (£14). If you would like to make use of one of our funded spots, get in touch with T-Climbing on Instagram (@transclimbing) or via hello@t-climbing.uk
Centre Access & Facilities:
Please have a look on our Access & Facilities page for full details.
If you have a question that isn’t covered, or specific access needs that aren’t being addressed, please email info@rise-climbing.com or call us on 020 4547 0708.
Health and Safety:
Bouldering is a risky sport, you are responsible for your own safety.
If you are feeling unwell or have COVID symptoms, please do not attend.
