We’re welcoming City Hall staff at the Greater London Authority to the centre for Staff Day this Thursday 9th July.

From 5PM, we’re inviting you to try the great bouldering routes we have to offer at the climbing gym, and we’re giving you 20% off your visit for your pleasure! That's a £16 entry with equipment, or £12.80 without equipment (if you have your own climbing shoes and chalk). You can pre-book your slot online, or simply turn up on the day with a valid City Hall / GLA staff ID.

We want to give you, our neighbours, an opportunity to try out climbing if it’s your first time, have a look at our gym, and check out our wider training facilities we have to offer.

Haven’t climbed before? Not to worry, our staff members will be sure to take you through a quick 5-10 minute induction to get you started on your climbing journey.

Already familiar? Have fun trying our wide range of mega boulder problems from beginner friendly all the way up!

We’re just under a 10 minute walk away from City Hall, nearest stations Canning Town (Jubilee, DLR), Royal Victoria (DLR) and Custom House (Elizabeth Line, DLR).

FAQ’s

  • If you can book in advance that would be preferred, but if you haven’t got a ticket you can just pay wen you arrive.

  • It is 20% off for the day!

  • If you haven’t climbed before we will run through a 10 minute safety induction with you, and get you started climbing. Once the induction is over, you can stay and climb (without an instructor present) for as long as you like.

    If you would prefer to attend an instructor led lesson, we run intro lessons on Tuesdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at 2pm.

  • Do I need any previous climbing experience?

    No previous climbing experience required just come in clothes you are comfortable exercising in.

  • If you haven't visited before, you can speed up your entry by filling in our waiver online here

  • No - you can arrive anytime after 5pm, and you can climb until we close at 10pm.
