Adult Courses

We have a range of adult courses and sessions for all abilities, whether you’re looking to start climbing or improve your technique.

Adult Intro Session

Intro classes are the perfect way to get started with climbing. Our instructor will show you how to boulder safely and give you some pointers to help you get started on your climbing journey.

Wear clothes that you are comfortable exercising in and arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in and get changed.

£20 for an hour long session - book below or in person.

Learn to Boulder Course

The Learn to Boulder course is a three week block of lessons with a 1.5 hour lesson each week. The lessons are aimed at both new climbers and existing climbers who boulder at the V0-V2 grade.

Continue Bouldering Course

Continue bouldering is all about giving existing climbers the tools to help improve, stay motivated, and enjoying (most of the time!) their climbing. you get started on your climbing journey. If you are a V2/3 - V4 climber, this could be perfect for you.

Board Basics Course

Board Basics is a course to explore what training boards are and how to start using them to improve your climbing. We would recommend that you have been bouldering regularly for at least a year, and are able to climb approx. V3 or 4 at Rise.

Social Climbing

Board Fridays

Every Friday - £5 entry

Looking to get super strong? Come down and climb on our 42.5 degree set board and 2016 Moonboard for just £5 (and maybe warm up on the traverse boulder if we are feeling generous).

Current board set by the strong boys Jim Pope and Matt Cousins. The board will be reset every 6 months to keep it fresh while you work towards your training goals.

Improvers

Every Wednesday 7-8:30 pm (no extra cost)

Are you stuck on that V2 by the cave? Or do you need footwork tips to get up the slab?

Run by one of our excellent facilitators, we will be about to share tips, chat beta, and to help you reach your climbing goals.

No need to book and there is no additional cost for the session.

Student Fridays

Every Friday - £7.5 entry (incl shoe hire)

It’s Friday, it’s cheap entry, come and climb!

Bring some friends or come solo, we have climbs for everyone. No need to book, and no equipment needed, just bring clothes you are comfy moving in.

We also have a well stocked bar. Beers, wines and delicious cocktails.
