The centre will be wide open for climbing, including our recently completed board room and slab climbing space in unit 5.
Whilst on Friday and Sunday the centre will be open as normal, on Saturday 18th July, we’ll be keeping the centre open until 10pm and we’ll be hosting screenings of some climbing films created by members of our community.
Film screenings
We will be screening two short films in the downstairs climbing area on Saturday between 8:30 - 9:30pm.
Climbing in the rest of the centre will still be open while the screening is on.
Moyo - directed and produced by Jay Kamara (15mins)
Moyo is a raw and poetic portrait of the children that call the Jipe Moyo and Musoma home. Painting a playful and colourful picture of the people and culture – the film highlights the rhythm of this special region of Tanzania. Surrounded by exotic wildlife and extraordinary landscapes, the people of Musoma have achieved a distinct harmony with the environment around them which flows through everything.
The Way Down Here - directed, shot & edited by Annie Martin (32mins)
This film has been a 5 year long project in the making and follows climbers Ruby, Kyle and Solly as they establish new lines along the North Devon and Cornish coastline, from V4 to V15.
With a love of climbing and sense of belonging, the film shows that climbing as more than just a sport, it’s a way of being.
The film had a tour of over 8 screenings across multiple climbing walls in the UK reaching hundreds of people, before finishing at the Bouldering Session at Kendal Mountain Film Festival 2025.
Bar
Our bar will also be open across the weekend. We’ll be serving our classic frozen margaritas to keep you cool! We will be serving alcoholic drinks from 5pm - 10pm on Friday, 12pm - 10pm on Saturday and 12pm - 6pm on Sunday.
We are only 10 mins away!
Whether you’re in the area to catch world class climbing talent, or just want something fun to do over the weekend, come along for a climb! We’re just a 10 minute walk away from the Royal Docks, nearest stations Canning Town (Jubilee, DLR), Royal Victoria (DLR) and Custom House (Elizabeth Line, DLR)
