Adult Classes

Intro classes are the perfect way to get started with climbing. Our instructor will show you how to boulder safely and give you some pointers to help you get started on your climbing journey.

Intro classes are an hour long, and include entry, shoe and chalk hire, and free climbing after the class.

Wear clothes that you are comfortable exercising in and arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in and get changed.

Intro classes are £20 and can be booked below, or in person.

The Learn to Boulder course is a three week block of lessons with a 1.5 hour lesson each week.

The lessons are aimed at both new climbers and existing climbers who boulder at the V0-V2 grade.

The lessons cover boulder safety, bouldering techniques for beginners, and are a fantastic way to improve your bouldering.

Only £60 for non-members and £30 for members - this includes entry and shoe hire.

Full details of the course and available dates are HERE.

Continue Bouldering Course

Yes, a slightly silly name, but also one that makes lots of sense. Continue bouldering is all about giving existing climbers the tools to help improve, stay motivated, and enjoying (most of the time!) their climbing.

If you are a V2/3 - V4 climber, this could be perfect for you. This course is targeted at climbers with a reasonable amount of bouldering experience, with a focus on exploring more advanced climbing techniques, and looking at when to use them.

This is a 4 week course for adults. Sessions are 1.5 hours and £90 for non-members, £60 for members.

Full details of the course and available dates are HERE.

Board Basics Course

Board Basics is a course to explore what training boards are and how to start using them to improve your climbing.

We would recommend that you have been bouldering regularly for at least a year, and are able to climb approx. V3 or 4 at Rise.

Run on Monday evenings, this is a three week course for adults.

The course costs £80 for non-members and £50 for members and there is just space for 4 climbers.
